For jewellery in stock: items ordered before 12.00 pm on any business day (Monday to Friday) excluding Bank Holidays will be delivered next business day (excluding Saturday), anytime up to 5.30pm. (assuming that the item is in stock). The delivery charge guarantees next day delivery and insurance cover for your jewellery is included in the charge. Remote parts of Scotland and some offshore islands have slightly later guaranteed delivery times and I cannot, therefore guarantee a next day delivery for these locations.
Orders taken after 3:00 p.m. on Friday will normally be dispatched on Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) for delivery by 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Orders taken on Friday before 12.00 pm will normally be dispatched on Friday for delivery on Monday (excluding Bank Holidays).
However, I rely upon the services of a third party, and whilst I endeavour to ‘keep to my word’ there are unfortunately a few occasions when the Royal Mail fails to perform the service that they are required to. This happens rarely, but because it does occur, albeit occasionally, I cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item. For the avoidance of doubt I regret that I am unable to refund the standard delivery charge if the Royal Mail has failed to deliver the item(s) on the anticipated delivery date.
The Collection: Delivery will be made as soon as possible after the item has been made. Once I have received your order you will be informed, via e-mail, of an anticipated delivery date(normally within 14 days of receipt of order). If the delivery date is not acceptable you may, at this point, cancel your order and receive a full refund back to your credit/debit card.
Who do I use?
United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, but excluding the Republic of Ireland)
I use the Royal Mail, Special Delivery service, which guarantees delivery by 1pm the next working day (Monday to Friday) to most parts of the United Kingdom. Delivery will take up to 2 working days for the Shetland and Orkney Islands and 3 working days to the Republic of Ireland. You can choose any convenient delivery address, but you must arrange for someone (not necessarily yourself) to be present to receive and sign for the package on the expected delivery date. If you work, perhaps you could arrange delivery to your work place?
When a parcel cannot be delivered
When a parcel cannot be deliveredWhere a parcel cannot be delivered, (e.g. no-one at home), you will be notified by Royal Mail with a telephone number to call to arrange a suitable time for re-delivery. Royal Mail will only attempt one re-delivery, thereafter you will be required to collect your parcel from the collection depot within 5 days. If your parcel is not collected within 5 days it will be returned to me. Your credit/debit card will be credited your original total cost less cost of delivery, plus return delivery charges back to me. Please contact me on 020 8769 7237 for further details.
International Delivery
I use the Royal Mail, Airsure Delivery service, with mail leaving the United Kingdom on the earliest possible flight, receives priority handling abroad and is electronically tracked. Please see “How to Track your Order” section below for more details. Unfortunately Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery times because delivery standards vary from country to country. However, Royal Mail aim to deliver in three days to Western Europe, four days to Eastern Europe and five days for the rest of the world. Please note, however, that Airsure is not a guaranteed courier service.
How to Track your Order
Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email confirmation that your order is being processed. When I dispatch your jewellery you will receive another email with your Royal Mail Tracking number. Royal Mail tracks the parcel through their delivery network using barcodes attached to individual items They scan the barcode at the start of its journey (at the receiving depot) and at key stages in the delivery process until it reaches its final destination. To track your parcel, please use their on-line tracking service at www.royalmail.com/tractandtrace entering your tracking number in the tracking number box, together with the date of postage. Alternatively, you can call The Royal Mail directly on 08457 001 200 or textphone 08456 000 606.
You will be able to view the status of your delivery after 7.30pm on the date of posting.
What to do if there is a problem with the delivery
If the parcel does not arrive when you expect it then please don't hesitate to give me a call on 0208 769 7237.
